  We had a lovely couple of days, the cottage is very compact but has all you need, and is full of character. Parking opposite the cottage on the other side... read more of the lane was convenient, and it's only 5 mins walk down the hill into the centre of Tideswell. A good fish n'chips at Elliotts, and a lovely brunch at the Tideswell Lounge cafe the next morning. The lady at the Cherry Tree sandwich shop was just closing but opened up again for us to get lovely, good value filled baps & cakes to take on our walk. We'd stay in this cottage & in Tideswell again, recommended.

We enjoyed a number of local restaurants and stores, all within walking distance. The house offered everything we needed, and was a lovely place to return to after a day of hiking.

  Cosy Cottage is fab, and everything was so easy too even though it was a last minute booking, the area is great too so a good stay 🙂
